About

NetOutages is an independent outage monitor.

What NetOutages is

NetOutages answers one question: is it down for everyone, or just you? It lists well-known services and shows whether they are working right now, how fast they answer, how reliable they have been and what went wrong when they failed.

You can also add a website of your own. We check it around the clock, keep its history, and tell you by email, Slack, Discord or a webhook when it goes down and when it is back.

How it is different

We do not wait for complaints. Every service is checked by us, so there is a status even for a site nobody has reported yet, and for sites that block automated checks the page says honestly that we cannot tell.

User reports are the second signal: they show when people disagree with what the checks say. Read how it works in detail on the page about detection.

Independent

NetOutages is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of the services it lists. Their names and logos belong to their owners; we show only a monogram, and the status is our own measurement.

We do not run advertising or analytics scripts. See the privacy page for exactly what is stored.

Limits you should know about

Our checks come from one location, a list of 52 services is not the whole internet, and a status is a measurement, not a guarantee. Do not rely on it alone for something critical.
